Andy Fletcher dies: The sad news this Thursday (May 26) is that Andy Fletcher, the keyboardist and founding member of the famous electronic-pop group Depeche Mode, has died. He is 60 years old.

Fletcher helped create Depeche Mode from England in the early 80s, and Martin Gore and David Gahan – as well as former members Alan Wilder and Vince Clark – become one of the most iconic and influential electronic music bands in history.
His 1990 LP Violator is considered one of the greatest albums of all time, and Depeche Mode helped shape modern synth-pop through decades of music, influencing countless bands and artists. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame In 2020.
