Met Gala 2022: As we all know, on May first America witnessed the largest red carpet event in the world, like every year. Let’s discuss the things about the red carpet event Met Gala in this article. On the first Monday of May each year, big names in fashion, music and the arts come together to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute.

Hosted by iconic Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, the Met Gala is an annual event, the inaugural event of the museum’s latest fashion show. This particular Met Gala is currently celebrating the second installment of the fashion show, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” which opens on May 5, 2022.

 

Oh, and did we mention that this is the most exclusive fashion event of the year? Unless you are a big name, getting a look-in is incredibly difficult – so we are fortunate to be part of the experience by watching it from our own homes.

We all know that the most noticeable part of the Met Gala is the red carpet, where all celebrities brush their shoulders in their most daring and surreal looks. The red carpet is streamed live every year by Vogue, with celebrity hosts interviewing attendees as they climb the stairs.

 

How to Watch the Red Carpet Livestream? 

Met Gala Event will be broadcast on Vogue.com as like every year. The Livestream will start at 6 PM E.T in the evening on May 2. Red Carpet also will be live telecasted on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook through the Vogue official channels. 

 

2022 Met Gala theme

To coincide with the show’s launch, the Met Gala has a dress theme every year. Some recent Met Galas have been around themes such as “American Independence,” “Camp,” and “Heavenly Bodies”, so historically celebrities and guests have plenty of scopes and opportunity to make the fashion world especially bold. Look.

This year’s gilded glamor theme may turn the tide, though some fashion critics have suggested that many of the looks that have been displayed over the past few years have not really given the theme an example.

 

The Gilded Age of US History dates back to roughly 1870 and 1900 and included periods of rapid economic growth – with fashion for compatibility. We’re talking opulence, big ruffles, and lots of fancy and attention-grabbing looks.

The Met Gala is a charity event that is considered a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute, which is traditionally set to mark the opening of its annual fashion show.
