In the Southern Hemisphere, Orion is found in the northwest sky. Orion is best seen between latitude 85 and minus 75 degrees. It has a 5-hour right ascent and its slump is 5 degrees.
Orion is in the daytime sky from May to July and is therefore not visible at high latitudes. In countries close to the equator, Orion appears around midnight in December and in the February evening sky.
