Myles Garrett Accident: Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett was involved in a single-car accident Monday after leaving the team’s practice facility in Berea, Ohio, and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the Browns confirmed.
Myles Garrett was released from the hospital Monday night and will continue to undergo further tests, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported. Myles Garrett was traveling with a passenger, and an accident happened around 3 p.m. Garrett was said to be alert and aware upon the officer’s arrival at the scene. According to OSHP, Garrett suffered no major injuries and impairment is not suspected. (Myles Garrett Accident) According to a statement from his agent, Nicole Lynn, Myles Garrett was alert and responsive at the hospital as he awaited word on the extent of any injuries he sustained. Myles Garrett was involved in a one-car accident this afternoon and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, Lynn’s statement read. The Myles Garrett family would like to thank the medical personnel who extricated Myles and his passenger from the crashed vehicle and transported them safely to the hospital.
Miles Garrett, 26, and his passenger were wearing seat belts. The investigation is going on for the cause of an accident. The Browns said Monday they are in the process of gathering more information about the situation. Myles Garrett, a two-time first-team All-Pro, recorded three sacks through the first three games of the season.
