Indian Republic Day 2022: India is celebrating its 73rd Republic Day today on January 26, 2022. When India got independence from the British Raj in 1947, the Indian Constitution was in force until January 26, 1950, when India became a sovereign state, declaring it a republic country. Dr. BR Ambedkar presided over the draft Committee of the Constitution. Additionally, Constitution Day is celebrated in India every year on November 26, as on November 26, 1949, the Constitution of India was adopted by the Constitution of India.

How do we celebrate Republic Day?
We Indians celebrate January 26th Indian Republic Day 2022 by flag wasting at every government and private organization, institution, office, other public sectors to give respect to our constitution. We also send gratitude to great personality and father of constitution Dr. BR Ambedkar on this occasion. We wish each other by giving sweets to make happy.
On Republic Day, flag parades and parades are held by armed forces and school children in various parts of the country. The most magnificent and most important parades of these parades are held at the Rajpath of New Delhi, which showcases the multi-hued image of the country’s rich cultural heritage and military prowess.
The parade will be hosted by the President of India. One of the main tasks of the Republic Day Parade is to pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country and to present bravery awards to soldiers, civilians, and children who were brave in the face of adversity.
The Prime Minister of India will first perform the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate in memory of all members of the Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives for the country. Then the 21 Gun Salute, the National Flag, and the National Anthem are sung. Next, bravery awardees will be given awards like Paramvir Chakra, Ashoka Chakra, and Veera Chakra.
The Parade Bravery Award begins with a salute to the President in open military jeeps, followed by a display of various tanks, missiles, and other equipment added to the military arsenal. Following this is the march-past of the Armed Forces, Police, Home Guards, and various regiments of the National Cadet Corps. The President of India is the Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Armed Forces and receives the salute of honor. This is followed by a thrilling parade featuring cultural dances from various states of tableaux and patriotic school children.
The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar-winning children crossed over the crowd on colorfully decorated elephants. The children are honored and awarded by the Indian Council for Child Welfare for their outstanding acts of bravery and selfless sacrifice.
