Rory McIlroy said he was doing his best to stay in his "own little world" at the 150th Open

crowds flocked to watch him fire a round of 66 to share a four-shot lead on the final day at Victor Hovland St. Andrews.

"The support I've had this week has been absolutely incredible," McIlroy said. 

"I appreciate it and I feel it there. But at the same time
